Altibox managers look at trends for 2015

Norwegian cable company Altibox has asked its management team what they consider to be the major technology trends in 2015. Toril Nag, CEO of Altibox parent company Lyse Tele, said smartphones and tablets would increasingly be used as remote controls for home lighting and heating, as well as for health applications and security. Tore Kristoffersen, concept director at Altibox, said use of IP-based mobile services would continue to expand in the new year. Oyvind Lundbakk, product director at Altibox, said Alibaba will become the new Amazon.
