Altibox says closed captioning starts on 3 channels

Wednesday 24 September 2014 | 11:56 CET | News
Norwegian cable company Altibox said closed captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing is now available on national broadcaster NRK, TV2's national channel, and on TVNorge. To use the subtitles, viewers should go to the TV portal, chose 'settings' scroll to the right for 'languages', change secondary subtitles to Russian, then select subtitles for the hearing-impaired. The red button will then save the changes and return the viewer to the TV portal. Any subtitled programmes will now automatically show the captions.
