Altice complains of irregular spectrum use by Viva Dominicana

Friday 8 September 2017 | 12:04 CET | News
Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) announced that it's considering a complaint lodged by Orange Dominicana (Altice) accusing rival Viva Dominica of irregular use of spectrum. Indotel said Orange's allegation would be assessed by its executive board before passing it on to the watchdog's council, which has a term of 60 days in which to decide whether or not to take action. Orange has asked Osiptel to clarify which frequencies will be used by Viva to offer 4G services.
