Wednesday 22 May 2019 | 16:23 CET | News
The CEO of Altice Portugal, Alexandre Fonseca, said that there is no margin to lower the price of telecommunications services in Portugal, reports Jornal de Negocios. According to him, the prices of packages including TV, internet and fixed telephony are on average 30 percent lower than in the rest of Europe. He added that the same package that costs EUR 40-42 in Portugal, in New York costs USD 200. Fonseca also said that 6-7 years ago the telecom business was worth around EUR 7 billion, while last year it amounted to just under EUR 5 billion.
