Altice Portugal criticizes regulator's proposals

Monday 18 February 2019 | 11:19 CET | News
Altice Portugal CEO Alexandre Fonseca said that the proposals presented by regulator Anacom for the telecom sector are "populist" and "demagogic" and, if approved, could compromise investments in the industry, reports Lusa. He added that the proposals could "destroy the telecommunications sector, that make this type of investment not viable, that also make job creation in the interior of the country not viable". Fonseca added that the Altice Portugal works council is also concerned about these measures.
