Altice USA buys Cheddar for USD 200 mln

Altice USA has agreed to buy cable news site Cheddar for USD 200 million. The deal is expected to close over the next two months, after receiving regulatory approval. Cheddar will join Altice USA News and its News 12 Networks and international and current affairs news network i24NEWS. Cheddar founder and CEO Jon Steinberg will lead Altice News, including Cheddar, News 12 and i24NEWS.
