ALTON asks government to reduce multiple taxation

The Association of Licenced Telecommunication Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) has asked the government to review the Amended Tax Order of 2015 to reduce multiple taxation, reports CommunicationsWeek. Operators say heavy taxes imposed at the federal, state and local government levels retard economic growth, limit profits, compromise quality of service and slow network expansion.
