Altron unit may appeal against loss of Tshwane broadband contract

Friday 20 September 2019 | 10:19 CET | News
IT firm Altron said Thobela Telecoms has been granted leave to appeal against a July ruling by the high court in Pretoria that set aside the City of Tshwane's ZAR 1.2 billion broadband contract, BusinessDay. The contract was awarded in 2015 to Thobela Telecoms, a special purpose vehicle in which Altron is a minority shareholder. Thobela may appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal.
