Altruist acquires cloud-based analytics company iConnectiva

Indian mobile VAS provider Altruist Technologies has acquired Connectiva Analytics and Insights (iConnectiva). Financial terms related to the transaction have not been disclosed. iConnectiva currently provides fraud management and Big Data analytics services for telecom operators. According to Dheeraj Aggarwal, co-founder of Altruist, the transaction will combine the iConnectiva platform with Altruist's experience and reach in running SaaS platforms "to create a data analytics power house". Following the completion of the acquisition, iConnectiva's 100 employees will join Altruist.
