Altyn Asyr introduces voice over LTE

Turkmenistan state-owned mobile operator Altyn Asyr, working under the Tmcell brand, has introduced voice services over its LTE network. The services use the CSFB technology, for voice services on the 3G or GSM network when LTE is not available. The operator runs its LTE network on the LTE FDD standard on the 2,600 MHz band.
