Amazon, ARD Sites expand German audience in Oct

Around 55.8 million unique viewers went online in Germany during the month of October, up 7 percent from the month before, with a record 84 percent also watching online videos, according to a study by ComScore. Although maintaining its fifth position in the Top 20 Online Property rankings, Amazon's audience grew 7 percent, gaining on eBay in fourth position, with a difference of 250,000 users. German public service broadcaster ARD Sites re-entered the Top 20 in 17th position, driven by increases in traffic for its regional constituents BR.de, SWR.de and WDR.de, and reaching more than 11.6
