Amazon France announced plans to accelerate hiring this year at its warehouses. Compared to an original plan to add around 500 employees, it will now hire 1,000 more staff for its four distribution centres in France this year. Amazon said the new staff will cover a wide range of positions from logistics workers and HR to IT technicians and managers. Following the new hires, it will employ around 4,000 permanent staff in France. The company operates distribution centres in Lauwin-Planque (Nord), Saran (Loiret), Sevrey (Saone-et-Loire) and Montelimar (Drome).
