Amazon Studios snaps up next Woody Allen film, series

Amazon Studios has announced the acquisition of the North American rights to Woody Allen's latest as-yet-untitled feature film. Amazon said it will open the film this summer with a traditional, nationwide theatrical release, subsequently becoming available exclusively to Prime members through Prime Video. The company also confirmed that Allen is writing and directing an untitled six-episode television series for Amazon starring himself, Elaine May and Miley Cyrus.
