Ambient emissions exposure is 0.9 V/m in France

France's average level of exposure to electromagnetic radiation is around 0.9 V/m, according to French spectrum regulator ANFR, which demonstrated at a press eventy how measurements are taken for the benefit of digital economy minister Fleur Pellerin. The measurement corresponds to overall electromagnetic fields, notably those from TV and mobile network equipment. Le Monde reports that the minister made 2G and 3G calls and measured the way emissions from a communicating mobile phone is sensibly higher than ambient radiation.
