America Movil acquires Olympics TV rights for LatAm until 2024

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that America Movil has acquired the rights to show the Olympic Games from 2018 to 2024 in 17 Latin American countries, starting with the next year's winter games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Under the terms of the deal, America Movil can broadcast the games on an exclusive basis on digital platforms in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. It has also acquired exclusive pay-TV rights in Argentina,
