America Movil further raises KPN stake to 8.12%

Thursday 14 June 2012 | 10:10 CET | News
America Movil has pushed its stake in KPN further to 8.12 percent. The Mexican operator had increased it to 7.3 percent from 5 percent on 12 June. America Movil wants to bring its stake in KPN to 27.7 percent. KPN is the offer of eight per share, however, undervalued. KPN earlier said the EUR 8 per share partial bid undervalues the company and is looking for ways to grow shareholder value by either selling Belgian mobile unit Base or German mobile unit E-Plus. KPN shareholders can tender their shares to America Movil until 27 July.
