America Movil will not participate in TV auction - CFO

Mexican telecoms operator America Movil will not take part in an tender process through which the government plans to auction two new TV channels, company CFO Carlos José García Moreno Elizondo said during a conference call with investors. According to previous reports, the two new channels will begin broadcasting by the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016. The licences include an obligation to cover 30 percent of the population and in five years reach 100 percent.
