Amlogic, Vewd introduce chipset platform for pay-TV services

Amlogic partnered with Norway-based Vewd to pre-integrate Vewd OS on chipsets designed for streaming media players, set-top boxes, and connected home devices. The partnership aims to significantly reduce CapEx and time-to-market for manufacturers selecting the popular Linux-based Amlogic S905X silicon, while giving access to the groundbreaking Vewd OS feature set. The platform will be presented at IBC.
