Ampernet selects Padtec to light optical network

Tuesday 8 May 2018 | 10:30 CET | News
Brazilian ISP Ampernet Telecom is investing in the construction of DWDM networks in key cities in the southwest of the state of Parana, with the goal of adding more transmission capacity to its optical backbone and expanding its offer of services in the region. It has chosen Padtec equipment to illuminate a new stretch of its optical network of 370 km with terminations in the municipalities of Foz do Iguacu and Pato Branco. The equipment will be employed by the provider in five of the 30 cities served in the state.
