Anacom approves pricing for island links

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) approved the decision following its review of prices for circuits connecting the mainland and the Azores and Madeira (CAM circuits) and circuits connecting several islands of the Azores (inter-island circuits), supported by submarine cables owned by Meo. The regulator decided that Meo should maintain the prices of traditional circuits, as well as reduce the maximum prices of CAM circuits by 10 percent and of inter-island circuits by 4 percent, within the framework of the ORCE regulated offer.
