Anacom fines Vodafone Portugal, Optimus over VAS messages

Portuguese telecommunications regulator Anacom has decided to impose fines on Vodafone Portugal and Optimus for not blocking access to value added services (VAS) by sending messages. Anacom imposed a fine of EUR 95,000 on Vodafone Portugal and EUR 75,000 on Optimus, totaling EUR 170,000.
