Anacom flags high broadband prices in Portugal after EU report

Broadband prices in Portugal are the second highest in the EU, only behind prices in Cyprus, according to figures from the European Commission's Digital Economy and Society Index for 2021, reported by Portuguese regulator Anacom. The EC study places Portugal in the "expensive" or "relatively expensive" clusters in 12 of the 13 fixed broadband usage profiles, in 11 of the 12 mobile broadband usage profiles and in all nine convergent usage profiles.
