Anacom recommends end of universal fixed-line service contract

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) considers that the low demand for universal fixed-line services does not justify the maintenance of the contract concluded between the state and the Nos, under the terms established in 2014. Over three years since signing of the contract, there are only two customers for the service.
