Anacom says 'incomprehensible' services not fully restored in fire areas

Thursday 1 March 2018 | 14:59 CET | News
The president of Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom), Joao Cadete de Matos, said it is "unacceptable" that telecommunications have not yet been fully restored in the areas affected by fires in the past year, reports Jornal de Negocios. He said that the regulator is asking the operators for urgency in the replacement of connections and remains on the ground to analyze the situation at the level of commercial practices. Anacom was also notified of difficulties in accessing Meo's wholesale offers, but the regulator says it is asking for clarification on any problems.
