Anacom to tell operators to give customers more information such as contract tie-in expiry

Portugal's National Communications Authority (Anacom) has announced a draft decision requiring operators to submit information about the date when a customer's tie-in period expires, as well as the costs that they must bear if they decide to terminate the contract. In addition to recalling that this information has to be made available for free, the regulator says that whenever consumers request, operators are obliged to provide more explanation with a greater level of detail than is made available on new invoices.
