Anatel approves designation of small operators

The board of directors of the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has approved the regulation that defines small service providers, enabling them to benefit from certain exemptions. Its criteria designate operators as small if they have a national participation of 5 percent in each retail market in which they operate.
