Anatel grants prior consent to new Oi board members, bylaws

Monday 17 September 2018 | 15:12 CET | News
Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has granted prior consent for the new members of the board of directors at Oi, the company announced. The approval is conditional on the Superintendency of Competition attesting to the results of the extraordinary shareholders meeting convened for 17 September. The regulator has also granted prior approval for the amendment of Oi's bylaws, which will increase the authorized capital limit from the current BRL 34.0 billion to BRL 38.0 billion.
