Anatel has 'Plan B' for Oi

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) is already drawing up a "Plan B" for Oi that foresees an intervention in the country's largest telecom operator, currently under bankruptcy protection. In an interview with daily 'O Globo', Juarez Quadros, new president of the regulatory agency, said that Anatel cannot stand aside in the case of "a failure" involving Oi, with debts of around BRL 65 billion and 66,705 creditors.
