Anatel seeks comments on internet governance modernisation

Wednesday 9 August 2017 | 10:50 CET | News
Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has launched a public consultation on the modernisation of the Brazilian internet governance structure. It is seeking contributions from society to evaluate the possibility of updating the structure, considering the expansion of the internet in the world, its influence as a tool for realising fundamental rights, the broadening of digitisation to every sector of the economy, and the considerable and continuous increase in the number of users. The deadline is 08 September.
