Android Pay goes live in Singapore with MasterCard

Tuesday 28 June 2016 | 11:57 CET | News
Android Pay is now available in Singapore. MasterCard cardholders and Android device owners in Singapore can now make mobile payments and purchases using the Android Pay service. Singapore is the first market in Asia to go live with Android Pay, following Android Pay's launch in the US in September 2015 and in the UK in May 2016. DBS/POSB, OCBC and Standard Chartered will be the first banks to support Android Pay in Singapore, with UOB coming soon.
