Android share hits 90% in Spain

Android has once again hit the figure of 90 percent of the Spanish smartphone market, having recovered ground lost to Apple's iOS over the past six months, according to the latest smartphone sales data from Kantar WorldPanel ComTech. Google's OS accounted for 90.0 percent of handsets sold in Spain in three months to February 2016, compared to the year-earlier result of 87.6 percent. iOS sales only went up by 0.4 percent year on year to 9.1 percent, having fallen by over 3 percentage points compared to the three months to December 2015.
