Android takes 57.3% share of French mobile accesses in June
The Android mobile operating system was used for 57.3 percent of all mobile accesses in France in June, up from 40.3 percent in January, according to audience measurement company Mediametrie. At the same time, the share of iOS fell to 36 from 52.5 percent. Android passed iOS in March at 48 percent versus 44.6 percent. Symbian and Windows Phone shares stood at 2.2 and 2.1 percent in June, and Blackberry's at 1.9 percent. Mediametrie's CybereStat panel comprises 53 websites owned by 14 internet groups.
