Angola Cables denies plan for new submarine cable from Luanda to Fortaleza

Angola Cables has denied a Diario do Nordeste report that it is planning a new submarine cable from Luanda to Fortaleza in Brazil. The company said that under its strategic plan, there is no forecast currently of investment in new submarine cables or an expansion of the AngoNAP Data Centre in the Brazilian state of Ceara. It confirmed, though, that company representatives had made a recent visit to Brazil.
