Angola Cables opens two new PoPs in Brazil with Ascenty

In partnership with Ascenty, Angola Cables has inaugurated two new Points of Presence (PoPs) in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, the two biggest Brazilian states in terms of internet traffic, reports Telesintese. In Rio de Janeiro, the PoP could benefit about 500 local ISPs, which will be able to traffic data internationally via IX and connect through Brazilian peerings. In Sao Paulo, the aim is to serve telecom operators and corporate customers, content providers, banks and industries.
