Angola Cables picks NAPAfrica as peering point

Angola Cables has chosen NAPAfrica in South Africa as its peering point. NAPAfrica is an internet exchange point located in all Teraco data centre facilities, providing peering across sub-Saharan Africa. It boasts over 240 unique connected networks and 140Gbps of peering traffic. Darwin Costa, IP product manager at Angola Cables, said that the operator, together with the Angolan government, is working to build Angola into a major telecommunications hub. He says that another aim is to enable super-fast access to Europe from South Africa, via its main hub in Lisbon and the European ring
