Angola cuts international call prices by 200% in 2 years

The president of the Executive Council of Angola Cables, Antonio Nunes, said that the prices of international calls in Angola have been reduced by 200 percent in the last two years, reports Jornal de Angola. This is the result of major investments in telecommunications and IT, he added. According to Nunes, the fall in prices of internet services involves optimising operators' costs, adding that their reduction has put the country in line with prices in the SADC region.
