Angolan consumer group objects to telecom services price hikes

Tuesday 22 September 2020 | 17:24 CET | News
The Angolan Association of Consumer Rights (AADIC) criticized the telecom providers increasing the prices of their services, reports Angop. The association mentions operators Zap, DStv, Movicel and TV Cabo and expressed indignation at the "astronomical" increases in prices, while at the same time regretting the fact that the regulator, the Angolan Telecommunications Institute (Inacom), has not intervened. AADIC also said it was disappointed that the Competition Regulatory Authority (ARC) agreed to the price changes.
