Angolan consumers to challenge Zap pay-TV price hike

The Angolan Association of Consumer Rights (AADIC) has threatened to challenge any agreement that Inacom may reach with pay-TV and internet provider Zap to raise the prices of its services, reports Jornal de Angola. After Zap announced to its clients the increase in prices from 26 February, the telecom sector regulator told the daily it was talking with operators and admitted a gradual price hike. For its part, AADIC has asked Inacom to include one or more consumer associations in negotiations with Zap.
