Angolan government to require operators to share telecom infrastructure

Angola's Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Jose Carvalho da Rocha, said that he will "demand" that telecom operators operating in the country comply with infrastructure sharing legislation. The minister was questioned by Lusa regarding the alleged lack of understanding among the current operators for the sharing of equipment and passive network. He noted that there is already a decree that requires that all infrastructure capable of hosting services linked to ICT should be shared, adding that this reduces risks and required investments, while at the same time
