Angolan government values 45% stake in Angola Telecom at USD 500 million

The 45 percent of Angola Telecom that the Angolan Government wants to sell is worth around USD 500 million, according to the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Jose Carvalho da Rocha, reports Mercado. The sum takes into account the company's real estate assets, as well as its telecommunications infrastructure and holdings in companies, banking included.
