Angolan satellite still not communicating, talks start on new satellite

The Angolan Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology said that the Angosat-1 satellite is in orbit, although it does not communicate with the ground station, adding that more information about the country's first satellite will be known on 23 April, reports Lusa. The Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Jose Carvalho da Rocha said that 13 of the 14 steps, from the construction to the beginning of the operation of Angosat-1, have been fulfilled.
