Antenova introduced at Embedded World 2016 a new surface mounting device (SMD) antenna for 3G, LTE and MIMO called Similis. The antenna measures 40 x 10 x 1.6mm and was designed for low profile M2M and IoT applications. This new antenna is suitable for Femto/base stations, portable devices, remote monitoring, smart meters, network devices and wearable electronics. Like all of Antenova's antennas, Similis is designed to be integrated within a device. Similis is the latest in Antenova's family of lamiiANT antennas which are manufactured from high grade dielectric constant laminate substrates.
