APAC SVOD households to quadruple to 68.8 mln by 2020

Asia Pacific will reach 68.83 million homes with subscription video on demand (SVoD) by 2020, quadruple the 2014 total and up from only 1.47 million in 2010, according to a report from Digital TV Research. The report also forecasts that Japan will remain the largest SVOD country. China will overtake South Korea to become the second largest country by SVOD homes in 2020.
