APL's revenues more than double in 2019, growth in data centre sector expected to continue

French-based data centre operator APL generated revenues of EUR 27 million in 2019, up 114 percent year-on-year (+51% in 2018). Gross profit increased 49 percent to reach EUR 10 million, while operating profit rose 36 percent to EUR 1.2 million. This progression was driven by several projects carried out in France last year, for clients including Advanced Mediomatrix (Abalone group), DTiX, and Digital Realty subsidiary Interxion, which expanded its Marseille campus.
