Appeal court to reconsider Orange Caraibe fine

The court of cassation has sent a case concerning Orange Caraibe back to the Paris appeal court, reports martinique.franceantilles.fr. The competition authority fined Orange Caraibe EUR 63 million in 2009, on the basis of allegations by competitors Digicel and Outremer Telecom. The rivals had accused Orange of thwarting competition between 2000 and 2005 through exclusivity deals and abusive tariff differentiation between on- and off-net calls.
