Apperian appoints Novell's Montero as senior VP, engineering

Mobile application management company Apperian has appointed Carlos Montero-Luque as its senior vice-president of engineering. In his new position, Montero will be responsible for all product engineering, leading Apperian's efforts to accelerate the growth of enterprise mobile applications. Montero joins Apperian from infrastructure software supplier Novell, where he held several positions, including VP, business and product management for SUSE Linux, CTO for security and identity management, and VP, engineering, for the ZENworks product suite.
