Apple in pricing talks for revamped Beats Music - report

Friday 3 October 2014 | 14:41 CET | News
Apple is reportedly in talks with major music labels about a new set of rights and features it would like to include in a revamped version of the Beats Music service it bought earlier this year, Re/Code reported, citing sources. Apple also wants a new pricing structure that would allow it to sell the service for less than the USD 10 level it is at now. Discussions are in their early stages, and Apple is not planning to change Beats Music until next year, the sources said, adding that the service may be altered at a later date.
