Apple loses head of AR headset team

The head of Apple's augmented-reality headset team announced his departure on LinkedIn. Avi Bar-Zeev said he will now move on "to the next big unsolved area." On his LinkedIn profile, Bar-Zeev said he helped found and invest the HoloLens at Microsoft. He helped launch Prime Air at Amazon and then helped Apple "advance its own undisclosed projects in mission-critical ways." He also said he co-founded the company behind Google Earth in 1999 and worked on VR experiences for Disney.
