Apple offers free repair for iPhone 7 models with no network signal

Apple has started a repair offer for iPhone 7 models, after several users reported that they were unable to receive a network signal. The company said "a small percentage" of iPhone 7 devices may show 'No Service' in the status bar even if cellular coverage is available, due to a component that has failed on the main logic board.

The affected units were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018 and sold in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao and the US. Customers affected can have their device repaired by Apple free of charge. Those who've already paid for a repair will be contacted by email and receive a reimbursement.
