Apps with integrated payment function more popular - study

Industry experts for payment and digitalisation How2Pay and Muecke, Sturm & Company published a study on mobile payment, with a focus on mobile phone-based payment systems in Germany. The study shows that the market has changed considerably as apps with integrated payment functions have taken over payment-only apps. PayPal emerged the winner of the mobile payment study, followed by the Netto app and Yapital. However, there is still room for improvement, especially regarding value-added services, the study's authors said.
